Liberty IT Solutions LLC, which specializes in Health Information Technology, has been awarded the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Process Records and Knowledge Solutions (PRKS) task order. The PRKS program will improve information sharing across VA Office of Information and Technology (OIT), make certain that IT projects meet VA architecture constraints, and promote streamlining processes that eliminate redundant IT systems. This $12.8 million task order has a 12-month period of performance with two potential option periods of 12 months each.

CEO of Liberty IT Solutions Bill Green says of the win: “Liberty looks forward to collaborating with VA OIT on the PRKS task order. Alongside partners Leidos and Applica, Liberty will deliver high quality results in the modernization of Knowledge Management and assist in the progression of processes within VA OIT.”

Liberty will place a strong focus on creating an established process for Quality, Performance, and Risk (QPR) to document key business processes. This will directly showcase the numerous benefits of IT Transformation including customer service improvements to Veterans and processes quality improvements that reduce operating errors and lower OIT costs. Liberty will also work closely with partners Leidos and Applica to help VA OIT become a Knowledge Management (KM)-Enhanced organization through the consolidation, formalizing, and standardizing of IT services.
